Updating flooring for your home coming on the market

Sometimes when you have lived in a home for quite a while, it’s hard to separate your love for the property and what you can do so that others will fall in love with it.

If you have lived in your home for over 10 years, let’s assess what kind of shape your flooring is in – specifically the carpeting. Tile & grout can be cleaned, but sometimes the carpeting is at the very end of it’s life and has to go.

I made the statement to one of my home sellers a while back that had really dark, unremoveable stains in his carpet, “if you spent $3000 for us to get $10,000 more in your sales price, would you do it?” He said yes.

I hooked him up with my favorite carpet person, Jarod Alexander with Floor Source – ph #602-619-6636. I made other suggestions as well, that I will share in another post.
